Cala Mesquida is easily accessible by car, and there is a large parking lot on the beach, as well as free parking in the surrounding streets. It is necessary to walk approximately the last 200 meters to reach the beach, making it difficult for wheelchair access. If you are staying in one of the apartments or hotels on the beach, you can go to the shore along a paved walkway. From Capdepera or Artà you can take taxis and buses.
The beach has a lifeguard post and the sea conditions are well marked due to the frequent more powerful waves of the island, although the waves are not too large either. All contacts of the red cross and emergency are perfectly marked on the main board. There is also a pharmacy in the tourist complex of Cala Mesquida.
The waters are quite shallow and wide, making it easier for children to play, but it is important to be cautious on windy days, since the waves can be larger.
